GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota women's tennis team was swept by Denver 7-0 on Saturday morning at Choice Health & Fitness.
The Pioneers came out firing on all cylinders when they defeated the Fighting Hawks in all three doubles matches to clinch the first point on the day.
In singles action, Denver took all six matches to seize the 7-0 dual win while only losing one set to UND.
Kaede Amano was the lone Fighting Hawk to win a set on the day as she took the second set from Anna Reidmiller, but was not able to clinch the final set in the No. 2 spot.
North Dakota returns to action on Saturday April 6 when they take on U-Mary at 5:00 pm at Choice Health & Fitness in Grand Forks.
