GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- MidcoSN will pick up several road hockey contests down the stretch, making every UND hockey game televised over the final six weeks of the season. The added coverage starts this week with MidcoSN carrying the Saturday game at Minnesota Duluth.
The television home for UND sports, MidcoSN is available in the footprint of predominantly North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. All UND home hockey and football games and select basketball and volleyball games are already produced and aired over MidcoSN. These additional MIdcoSN road telecasts will be feeds of road broadcasts with their on-air talent.
Other televised games left over the final 12 games of the regular season include a pair of CBS Sports Network games (Friday at UMD, Feb. 14 vs. Denver) and FOX Sports North (Feb. 22 at St. Cloud State).
Second-ranked and first-place North Dakota enters this weekend's huge matchup at 11th-ranked and second-place Minnesota Duluth with an eight-point lead in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference standings at the midway point of the league schedule. Friday's game will air as scheduled on CBS Sports Network with Saturday's game on MidcoSN (Channel 622 in Grand Forks).
