Off to its best start since the 2013-14 season and owning a 2-0 Summit League record, the University of North Dakota will host Omaha on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m., before heading to Tulsa, Okla., to take on Oral Roberts on Saturday, Jan. 11.
QUICK JUMPERS
*The University of North Dakota has scored 90-or-more points four times this season and has scored at least 90 in the last two conference games for the first time since Jan. 23-25, 2014.

UND'S NEED TO KNOWS
*North Dakota swept the series versus Omaha in 2019, and split with Oral Roberts, defeating the Golden Eagles at the Mabee Center, 75-67.
*The Fighting Hawks can register its best start as a Division I program with a win Thursday or Saturday.
*UND's six road wins are the most by the program since 2016-17 when it finished 9-6.
*The Fighting Hawks lead The Summit League in assists (17.4) and rebounds per game (43.7).
*Eight players are averaging over 5.5 points per game.
LET'S CELEBRATE DIVERSITY
Despite ranking third in The Summit League in scoring (73.4 PPG), the University of North Dakota only has one player averaging double figures this season.
Julia Fleecs, who has scored at least 10 points nine times this season, leads the Fighting Hawks with 10.9 points per game.
Fleecs' average is the second-lowest in The League among the nine teams with Omaha's Claire Killian being the lowest at 9.5 points per game. However, North Dakota has

No. 22 South Dakota is the only other Summit League team that can match or beat that figure as USD has six student-athletes averaging at least eight points. The Coyotes lead The Summit League in points per game with 81.9.
SCOUTING OMAHA
Omaha split its opening week of Summit League play with a win over Oral Roberts (60-54) after falling to South Dakota State in the opener, 68-51. Overall, the Mavericks are 6-9 this season, facing tests in Kansas, Kansas State, Northern Iowa. Omaha is allowing its opponents to 64.3 points per game, the fourth-best average in The Summit League behind UND, while averaging 60.8 offensively. Claire Killian leads the team with 9.5 points per game while Mariah Murdie leads on the glass with 6.1 rebounds per game.
SCOUTING ORAL ROBERTS
Oral Roberts dropped both of its Summit League games last week on the road, falling at South Dakota State and Omaha. The Golden Eagles played a tight contest with the Mavericks but were held to nine points in the final period to drop to 5-10 on the season after playing five Power Five conference games. ORU is averaging 66.4 points per game this season and shooting 37-percent from the field. Golden Eagle Keni Jo Lippe leads the conference in scoring with 18 points per game while Rylie Torrey's 12.8 are the 11th-most in the Summit League in scoring.

Following its first full weekend of Summit League action, the Fighting Hawks will hit the road to take on rivals South Dakota State and North Dakota State. UND will play in Brookings on Thursday, Jan. 16, before taking on the Bison on Sunday, Jan. 19.
