COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey has added UND sophomore Judd Caulfield and incoming freshman Tyler Kleven to the invitee list of players that will participate in the 2021 U.S. National Junior Team Evaluation Camp that will be held from Oct. 8-13 in Plymouth, Michigan, at USA Hockey Arena. Fellow teammates Mitchell Miller and Jake Sanderson were on the original list of invitees last week. The camp is part of the evaluation process in selecting the U.S. National Junior Team that will compete in the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship Dec. 25, 2020, through Jan. 5, 2021, in Edmonton, Alberta. The camp will be closed to the public, including fans, scouts and media.
 
Caulfield is familiar to USA Hockey after playing with the US National Development Team Program before coming to UND. In the 2018-19 season with the USNDTP, the Grand Forks native put up 25 goals in 28 games with the USHL squad, while contributing 38 points in the rest of the development team schedule. Last year in his freshman season at UND, Caulfield registered a dozen points, playing in 29 games.
 
Kleven is also a USNDTP product, spending last season with the U18 Team. He skated in 45 games with the U18 team and recorded two goals and ten assists for 12 points. The Fargo, N.D., native logged 52 games with the U17 team the season prior, scoring three goals and adding five assists for eight points. He goes into tomorrow's NHL Entry Draft as the 42nd-rankd North American skater per NHL's Central Scouting.
 
Last season, current UND sophomore Shane Pinto led Team USA at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Tournament with four goals and seven points, finishing 17th in the WJC for points (4-3--7).
