Next Game: vs. Kansas City
The University of North Dakota men's basketball game will finally return home and open conference play with a pair of contests against Kansas City on Jan. 2 and 3 at 3:30 p.m. from the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. Fans can catch all the action on MidcoSN2 with Alex Heinert and Zachary Dosch on the call or tune into Paul Ralston on the Home of Economy Radio Network.

Series History vs. Kansas City
This will be the sixth and seventh all-time meetings between North Dakota and Kansas City, with the Roos holding a 4-1 advantage in the series. The two teams met each season from 2008-2012, with the Fighting Sioux claiming their first victory as a Division I program in the Nov. 14, 2008 contest in KC. The Roos are a perfect 2-0 in Grand Forks.

Hello Again
It has been a long time since North Dakota has played a competitive basketball game inside the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The Fighting Hawks are set to go 316 days between their last game on Feb. 22, 2020 vs. North Dakota State and Jan. 2, 2021 vs. Kansas City.

Heavy Hitters
Despite figuring out a schedule during the middle of a global pandemic, UND did not shy away from taking on some tough opponents during its nine-game nonconference slate. Over those nine tilts, five came against opponents ranked inside the Mid-Major Top-25 at the time of the contest and all nine opponents combined for a 43-22 record (.662) as of Dec. 30.
