MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of North Dakota women's tennis team fell, 7-0, to Minnesota on Saturday afternoon at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis.Â
UND (0-3) dropped all six singles matches and a trio of contests in doubles play, as the Gophers (4-2) took home the victory via the sweep.Â
In doubles play, Minnesota won all three matches by a 6-2 score to take an early 1-0 lead, but North Dakota couldn't slow down the momentum of the Gophers in singles play. The hosts posted six sweeps to post the 7-0 win.Â
North Dakota returns to action tomorrow morning for a neutral-site showdown against Northern Iowa at 9 a.m.Â
