Series History vs. South Dakota
This will be the 192nd all-time meeting between North Dakota and South Dakota, with UND holding a 99-92 advantage in the series. The Coyotes have had the better of the Hawks in the Division I era, however, winning eight of the 12 meetings.
A win on Sunday would give UND its 100th win over USD. Since starting the program in 1904-05, this would mark the third team that UND has accumulated 100 wins over, and the final Division I program in the Dakotas.
The teams have met 16 times on a neutral floor, with both teams winning eight of those games. The last win for UND in the series came in Orem, Utah, as the Fighting Sioux defeated the Coyotes, 77-76, in double overtime to claim the Great West Conference title.
