NASHVILLE – No. 6 North Dakota heads below the Mason-Dixon Line to Nashville, Tenn. for the 2021 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game against Penn State on Saturday, Oct. 30 from Bridgestone Arena.
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio, FightingHawks and Varsity Network apps. The flagship station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action while Steve Olson provides color analysis.
Saturday's contest can be see on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt providing the call. Fans can catch all the action anywhere in the world via an NCHC.tv subscription.
This will be the first all-time meeting between North Dakota and Penn State.
UND has battled a Guy Gadowsky-coached team before, however, taking on Princeton in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. The Fighting Sioux took care of the Tigers, 5-1, led by a hat trick from Ryan Duncan.
