NOTES: No. 6 North Dakota, No. 4 Minnesota Duluth set for first Grand Forks collision since 2019

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Riding its first 4-0 start in league play since 2015-16, No. 6 North Dakota returns home to host No. 4 Minnesota Duluth for a two-game conference series on Friday and Saturday from Ralph Engelstad Arena.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio, FightingHawks and Varsity Network apps. The flagship station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action.
This weekend's contests are carried live on MIdco Sports with Alex Heinert (pxp) and Jake Brandt (color) on the call. Fans can also watch both games on NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday will be the 248th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Minnesota Duluth, with UND holding a 149-87-11 advantage in the series.
The two teams met only three times last season, with all three pouring out a different result. A 2-2 tie and 2-1 UND victory occurred in the NCHC pod down in Omaha, but it was a game on Mar. 27 that made history.
The longest game in NCAA Tournament history happened that night, with Minnesota Duluth defeating UND, 3-2, in five overtimes to advance to the Frozen Four.
North Dakota will turn Ralph Engelstad Arena lavender this weekend as part of Hockey Fights Cancer.
Special ceremonies will take place on both nights, with proceeds going towards the American Cancer Society and Altru's Cancer Center in Grand Forks.
