DEKALB, Ill. -- The University of North Dakota men's tennis team closed out its three-match road swing with a 6-1 defeat to Northern Illinois on Monday in DeKalb.
UND (3-2) closes the trip with a 1-2 mark, dropping both contests to the Huskies while picking up a victory over Youngstown State on Sunday.
NIU picked up the doubles points as well as wins on five of the six singles courts; however,
Johnatan Parat picked up his third singles victory of the season with a 6-3, 6-1 triumph on the No. 2 court to halt a personal two-match skid.
North Dakota will enjoy a few weekends away from the courts before taking a trip to the Windy City for a trio of matches against UIC (Feb. 19) and Chicago State (Feb. 20/21).
