He was an All-College Hockey News Second Team selection this season after being a Hobey Baker Hat Trick finalist his junior season in 2019-20. As a junior, the Abbotsford, B.C., native was dubbed the USCHO.com National Player of the Year and the NCHC's Forward of the Year and was First Team All-America by College Hockey News, American Hockey Coaches Association and USCHO. He was the Jeff Anderson Hockey Scholarship winner, the player annually voted UND's Most Valuable Player by his teammates. An assistant captain, he finished second in the country in points (15-30--45) and paced the NCAA in game-winning points (13) in 2019-20.
