Summit League Announces Basketball Schedules

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Summit League released its full 90-game schedule on June 16, and the North Dakota basketball programs will play an 18-game Summit League schedule in 2021-22, bookending the league season against in-state rival North Dakota State on Dec. 22 and Feb. 26.

The Summit League will welcome St. Thomas to the conference in 2021-22, giving the league 10 teams and each program a travel partner for the season.

Travel Partners
Western Illinois-Saint Thomas
North Dakota-North Dakota State
South Dakota-South Dakota State
Omaha-Kansas City
Oral Roberts-Denver

Except for the opening week of play, a Wednesday tilt with NDSU before Christmas, the Fighting Hawks schedule will be played on Thursday and Saturday. The mirror schedule also means that UND will not host any doubleheaders during The Summit League season as the women will be at home while the men are on the road and vice versa.

Season ticket information for the UND Women's Basketball season is coming soon. For questions, call the UND Box Office at the Ralph Engelstad Arena at (701) 777-4689 or reach out via email at tickets@theralph.com.
