GRAND FORKS, N.D. – No. 7 North Dakota hits the road for the first time this season to a familiar spot, battling longtime rival and top-ranked Minnesota on Friday night at 7 p.m. from 3M Arena at Mariucci.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action and is joined by his new road partner in the booth, Darrin Looker. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of UND hockey.

Friday's contest can be viewed on Bally Sports North Extra and can be streamed live on BallySports.com as well as the Bally Sports app and B1G+ via smartphones, tablets and connected devices when fans authenticate using their pay-tv credentials.

Friday marks the 292nd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Minnesota, with the Gophers holding a slight 141-134-16 advantage.

The two teams met last season in Grand Forks, with the teams splitting the series. The win on Friday by Minnesota is the only one over the last six games between the two rivals.

In 2019, UND's last visit to Minneapolis was a sweep for the Fighting Hawks, the first for the program since Jan. 2007.
