GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota cross country teams hosted the Summit League Championships on Saturday at the Ray Richards Golf Course and three Fighting Hawks earned All-Summit League status. The UND women placed third in the 6K with 100 points, while the NoDak men finished fourth in the 8K with 109 points.
Luke Labatte gained First Team All-Summit League honors in the 8K, taking third in a PR time of 23:06.9. It marks the third time Labatte has gained all-conference accolades and is his first time earning first team status.
Jadyn Keeler and McKenzie Burian each earned All-Summit League accolades in the women's race. Keeler earned first-team honors, finishing seventh with a PR time of 20:34.1 and beating her previous best by over a minute. Burian, named the Scholar of the Championships earlier this morning, picked up second-team status, taking 14th in a personal-best time of 20:57.5.
Conny Wohlfahrt just missed out on second-team honors, finishing 16th with a personal-best time of 21:03.2. Eliana Malnourie was next in 28th with a PR of 21:37.3, followed by Greta McLagan crossing 42nd with a PR of 22:21.7. UND rounded out the scoring with MiKayla Weiss taking 49th with a PR time of 22:30.4 and Elle Sondag finishing 57th in 22:49.3.
In the 8K, Justin Jelaca was next after Labatte, finishing 25th with a PR of 24:16.7, followed by Patrick Kipkemboi in 28th with a personal-best time of 24:18.0. Nelson Ruto also posted a PR and was 29th with a time of 24:18.5. Jake Hall took 33rd with a time of 24:35.8 and Zach Long was next in 36th, running a time of 24:43.0. Alan Ash rounded out the scoring for the Hawks and finished 37th with a PR of 24:43.1.

Post-Meet Notes
· Jadyn Keeler has led UND in every meet this season and it was her first time picking up All-Summit League honors.
· McKenzie Burian has now earned Second Team All-Summit League status three times in her career.
· This marks the second time the UND women have placed in the top three as a team since joining the Summit League.
· The top four runners for the Fighting Hawk women (Keeler, Burian, Conny Wohlfahrt and Eliana Malnourie) all ran personal-bests of at least 50 seconds faster than their previous 6K bests.
· Seven of the nine UND runners in the 6K had PR's of at least 20 seconds or more.
· Luke Labatte earned All-Summit League honors for the third time of his career and picked up first-team status for the first time, taking third with a PR of over a minute (23:06.9).
· Six Fighting Hawks posted PR's of over at least 30 seconds in the men's race (Labatte, Justin Jelaca, Zach Long, Alan Ash, Alec Nelson and Zak King).
· In total, eight of the nine UND runners in the 8K finished with new personal-bests.
