GRAND FORKS, N.D. - North Dakota will take on Idaho inside the ICCU Arena at 8 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday. Fans can follow all the action by watching the video stream on ESPN+, as well as by tuning into Paul Ralston's call on the Home of Economy Radio Network (100.3 FM).
Series History vs. the Vandals
This will be the 10th all-time meeting between the former Big Sky Conference foes, with the Vandals holding a 6-3 series lead. It marks the first game between the two squads since Dec. 1, 2018, when Idaho won 67-54 in Grand Forks. The Vandals have won the last three games between the two programs and North Dakota's last win in Moscow was an 88-65 victory on Feb. 11, 2017. The two teams also met once in the Big Sky Conference Tournament semifinal, where UND was victorious, 69-64, on March 10, 2017.
Last Time Out
Portland shot 56.7 percent and North Dakota fell 90-69 inside the Chiles Center on Saturday. Five Pilots reached double figures, while three Fighting Hawks hit double digits.
Mitchell Sueker was the top Hawk, netting 15 points while also corralling four rebounds.
A'Jahni Levias and
B.J. Omot were also in double digits, adding 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Pilots shot over 60.0 percent until 6:30 left in the game. Portland also held advantages in points in the paint (52-34) and rebounds (37-28).
Going Deep
North Dakota can go deep into the bench this season and it shows, with the Fighting Hawks ranking as the No. 1 team in the Summit League in bench scoring with 30.5 points per game from the reserves this season. The next closest benches in the conference are North Dakota State and South Dakota with 25.5 points per game coming from their benches.
