Next Game: vs. St. Thomas
The University of North Dakota will visit St. Thomas on Thursday for Summit League action inside Schoenecker Arena at 7 p.m. (CT). Fans can follow all the action on Tommies All-Access, as well as by tuning into

Series History vs. UST
This will be the 13th meeting between North Dakota and St. Thomas. UND holds a 7-5 edge in the series but is 1-3 in games played on the Tommies' floor. This will be the first competition between the two squads since Dec. 27, 1962, when the Fighting Sioux fell 73-66 in overtime to the Tommies on the opening day of the 1962-63 Red River Classic Tournament in Moorhead, Minn.
In the most recent game played at St. Paul, UND fell 62-43 to UST on Dec. 4, 1958. Three days previously, the Sioux won 73-64 on Dec. 1, 1958, for the last North Dakota win of the series.
Turning Back the Clock
It has been a long time since UND and UST last squared off, going all the way back to Dec. 27, 1962, when the Tommies came away with a 73-66 overtime victory. On Dec. 27, 1962, the No. 1 movie at the box office was Mutiny on the Bounty, the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 was "Telstar" by The Tornados, and John F. Kennedy was the President of the United States.
Last Time Out
Paul Bruns buried a deep triple to put North Dakota up 80-67 with 2:30 left, and the Fighting Hawks went 10-of-14 at the charity stripe in the final minutes to defeat Omaha by a tally of 92-85 on Saturday afternoon inside the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. In the game, UND shot 50.9 percent and scored 14 three-pointers, while also finishing 20-of-27 at the free throw line. The Fighting Hawks held a 34-33 edge in rebounds and a 31-18 advantage in bench scoring.
Paul Bruns was the top scorer for NoDak with 21 points, pouring in 16 points in the second half alone. He also finished 5-of-6 at the charity stripe.
Ethan Igbanugo was next for UND with 17 points, including eight made free throws.
Tsotne Tsartsidze and
Bentiu Panoam each put in 15 points, while
Caleb Nero was the final Hawk to net double figures with 12 points.

In a game that featured 17 lead changes and 13 ties, St. Thomas fell 76-67 to Kansas City inside Schoenecker Arena on Tuesday night. The Roos held the edge in both points off turnovers (15-9) and points in the paint (42-30), while the Tommies hit seven triples to one for KC. St. Thomas shot 40.0 percent in the contest, comparatively, the Roos hit 43.4 percent of their shots.
Ryan Lindberg was the leading scorer for UST with 19 points, followed by Riley Miller and Anders Nelson with 14 and 10 points, respectively. Parker Bjorklund pulled down a team-high nine boards and Nelson paced the squad offensively with four assists.Â

Freshman sensation
Paul Bruns currently has a team leading 361 points this season and would need to average 15.67 points per game the final games of the regular season to become the top freshman scorer in UND history. That record is currently held by
De'Sean Allen-Eikens and was set two seasons ago when Allen-Eikens netted 454 points as a freshman. In total, Bruns is 94 points away from holding that record outright.
Attacking the Glass
As a team, North Dakota ranks fifth in the conference in rebounds per game (35.9) and is fifth in total rebounds (897) this season. When it comes to being aggressive on the offensive glass, NoDak shines with 271 boards to sit second in league play. The only team in the Summit League with more offensive boards this season is Western Illinois with 289.
