GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Summit League announced on Tuesday that the University of North Dakota will host the 2022 Summit League Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Tom Scott said. "Our teams have been training hard this summer and hosting on our home course is going to be an amazing opportunity to compete in front of UND fans and the community."
The Summit League Cross Country Championships will take place at the
Ray Richards Golf Course, the same course where North Dakota will host the Ron Pynn Classic on Friday, Sept. 2.
At the
Ray Richards Golf Course, the 5K course is a 1K loop followed by a 4K loop. The 6K loop is a 1K loop repeated twice, then followed by a 4K loop. The terrain is flat with a couple gradual rises, mostly grass with about 50 meters of gravel path. For the Summit League Championships, the men's race will run the 4K loop twice, while the women's race will run the 1K loop twice followed by the 4K loop.
With the addition of the Summit League Championships to the schedule, North Dakota was also able to complete the release of the 2022 schedule. The NCAA Midwest Regional will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 and will be hosted by the University of Missouri. The NCAA Championships will take place on the campus of Oklahoma State on Saturday, Nov. 19.
