NOTES: No. 4 NoDak set for exhibition opener vs. Manitoba

GRAND FORKS,  N.D. – No. 4 North Dakota pulls back the curtain on the 2022-23 season with an exhibition showdown against Manitoba on Saturday night at 6:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. The flagship station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action and is joined by his new partner in the booth, Travis Dunn.
Saturday's game can be seen on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt calling the action, with Taylor Budge joining the crew as the rinkside reporter. Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Saturday marks the 22nd time North Dakota and Manitoba are set to square off in an exhibition contest, with UND winning the previous 21 contests.
The two programs have played six regular season contests, with the most recent coming in 1978.
In all action, North Dakota is 26-1-0 all-time against the Bisons, with every game coming in Grand Forks.
