NOTES: No. 7 NoDak aims for Ice Breaker title vs. Wisconsin

GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Just two games into the season, No. 7 North Dakota will play for a trophy against Wisconsin in the Ice Breaker Tournament on Saturday night at 6:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Mike LaMoine calling the action. Saturday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.  

Saturday's game can be seen on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt calling the action. Taylor Budge and Dean Barsness joins the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame host. Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Saturday marks the 173rd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Wisconsin, with the Badgers holding a slight 87-72-13 advantage.

This marks the first games between the two former WCHA rivals since Nov. 2-3, 2018, when UND notched a sweep in Grand Forks. 

Since the decade moved to the 2010s, NoDak has dominated the series with a 12-3-2 overall record, including a 7-1-1 mark since the team's left the WCHA in 2013-14.
