BOULDER CREEK, Nev. -- The University of North Dakota women's golf team concluded the fall portion of its 2023-24 season at The Clash at Boulder Creek, hosted by Northern Arizona, on Tuesday from Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
As a team, the Fighting Hawks finished in 19th out of 19 teams with a score of 928 (+64), but were able to shave a total of 13 stokes off the score as the three-round, three-day event wore on.
Emersyn Walker paced UND with a total score of 229 (+13) to sit tied for 84th overall by sandwiching a pair of 75s in the first and third rounds around a 79 on the second day. Teammate
Kylie Warner finished right on Walker's heels, also notching all three rounds in the 70s to close with a 230 (+14) and sit tied for 86th.
Lily Bredemeier shook off a tough opening round to post a 75 and 76 over the final two days to notch a 234 (+18) and finish 95th on the leaderboard while
Erin Johnson fired the best round of the tournament by a Fighting Hawk with a 74 on the final 18 holes to bring her score down to a 236 (+20) and tie for 97th overall.
Joy Callinan rounded out the scoring for NoDak by also improving her score each day to sit at 101st wiht a 241 (+25).
North Dakota will enjoy a break before releasing its spring schedule for the 2024 portion of the schedule.
