Borud Named to MVFC All-Newcomer Team

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – North Dakota center Cade Borud was named to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

The Fighting Hawks have placed eight student-athletes on the postseason All-MVFC Teams, with seven of them garnering all-conference honors on Monday.

Started all 12 games at center … His blocking helps UND currently sit No. 3 in the MVFC and No. 4 nationally in completion percentage (70.3) … UND QB's have the No. 15 passing efficiency rating in the country (153.02) when he is on the offensive line … Helped NoDak pile up over 500 yards of offense twice this season, highlighted by 652 yards against Drake.

The league offices will announce the MVFC All-Academic Team next week.
