Series History vs. the Golden Eagles
Saturday will be the 12th meeting between the Fighting Hawks and the Golden Eagles—ORU owns an 8-3 edge in the series and has won the last six in the series. The first ever meeting between the two was January of 2019 in Tulsa—a win for Oral Roberts. UND won three of the first five meetings between the two, but the tables have turned in favor of ORU. The Golden Eagles won the lone meeting in the Summit League tournament in 2021 in the 4v5 matchup en route to winning the league championship.

Treysen Eaglestaff added 15 off the bench and Brady Danielson scored 13. Eaglestaff also led the Fighting Hawks with eight assists and three steals. After struggling out of the gates, the Fighting Hawks found their stride late in the half and emerged with a four-point lead at half and then blew the game open with a 52 point season half.
