Amelia Loeffler led the Fighting Hawks with three shots, including a header from a corner kick in the first half that went just over the crossbar. She recorded one of the three shots on goal for NoDak, along with Irene Jirasevijinda and Kaylie Fowler. Brianna Castleberry took all of the shots on goal for the Roos.

Early on the Fighting Hawks got two shots, one from Alisha Maake in the fourth minute and one from Sarah McCracken in the sixth, but neither were on target. It was the first shot on goal of the game for the hosts, with the second coming at the end of the first half from Fowler.

Loeffler got her shot on goal in the 63rd minute for UND, and from there the Fighting Hawks would not test Moore again.
