NOTES: No. 4 UND jumps back into NCHC play with series against Omaha

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – No. 4 North Dakota returns to NCHC play for a weekend series with Omaha beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Mike LaMoine calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey. 

Friday's game can be seen on Midco Sports with Jody Norstedt and Jake Brandt calling the action. Taylor Budge and Dean Barsness join the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame hosts.  Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday will be the 56th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Omaha, with UND holding a 35-18-2 advantage in the series.

The first team to score a goal in the contest has won 25 of the last 28 games in the series.

North Dakota and Omaha met a whopping seven times last season, including a three-game series in the NCHC Quarterfinals, with UND finishing with a 5-1-1 mark against the Mavs in 2022-23.
