Fighting Hawks blanked 3-0 by Jackrabbits at home

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota Fighting Hawks fell to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in a physical home matchup.

Katherine Jones opened the scoring for SDSU in the 30th minute with a shot through traffic to the center of the net, assisted by Kaycee Manding.

Less than a minute later, Xehlia Salanoa struck again for the Jackrabbits, doubling their lead in the 31st minute with an assist from Mia Bosch. The rapid succession of goals left the Fighting Hawks trailing as they headed into halftime.
