GRAND FORKS, N.D. - No. 15 North Dakota will hit the road for the second consecutive week and visit Indiana State at Noon (CT) this Saturday. The game will be exclusively streamed on ESPN+. It will also be carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network with a pregame show starting at 11 a.m. (CT).

UND has a 5-3 record and 2-2 standing in MVFC play after falling 41-40 in overtime at Youngstown State last weekend. North Dakota scored a touchdown to bring the tally to 41-40 but opted to go for the win on a two-point conversion attempt that landed incomplete. Simon Romfo was stellar throughout the game and went 19-for-24 passing for 212 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding a 24-yard rush during a crucial moment of the overtime period. Bo Belquist hauled in a game-high 10 catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns and broke the all-time school record for receptions in a career at UND.

ISU enters the contest with a 3-6 record and 2-2 mark in conference action after defeating Southern Illinois in Terre Haute last week, 20-17. The Sycamores scored 20 unanswered points in the second half. Linebacker Geoffrey Brown started the scoring for ISU and had a 21-yard pick-six early in the third quarter.  Another Sycamore takeaway led to a two-yard touchdown pass from Elijah Owens to Lance Rees. Owens completed the comeback with a 28-yard touchdown scamper at the midway point of the final stanza. Owens finished the game 13-for-17 passing for 78 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He also rushed 15 times for 119 yards and a score.

North Dakota has a 2-0 series lead between the two teams. Last season, the Fighting Hawks clawed their way to a 36-33 overtime victory inside the Alerus Center to keep their FCS playoff hopes alive. The last time UND played at ISU, North Dakota ran away with a 42-7 victory in Terre Haute on Nov. 5, 2022.
