Meet the Signees
Names are listed in alphabetical order:
Marley Curtis | 6-8 | Forward | St. Louis Park, Minnesota | St. Louis Park HS
Four-year letterwinner at St. Louis Park HS…Averaged 19.1 points per game (6
th highest in Metro West) and 5.8 rebounds per game (5
th highest in Metro West) as a junior…Competes with Team J Sizzle on the AAU circuit…
Coach Sather on Marley:
"Marley is a physically imposing guard with great size, skill, and athleticism. He brings a shooter's mentality to the offensive side of the floor but can attack the basket and tear the rim off the backboard. On defense, we feel he could be an impact player that can defend multiple positions and be a lock-down defensive player that can really rebound his position. Marley plays with contagious energy that can really affect the team on both sides of the floor. We are excited to get him on campus and start the process."
Micah Curtis | 6-8 | Forward | St. Louis Park, Minnesota | St. Louis Park HS
Four-year letterwinner at St. Louis Park HS…2024-25 Preseason All-State…Averaged a double-double with a team-leading 21.7 points per game (3
rd highest in Metro West) and 11.9 rebounds per game (led conference) during a junior season that resulted in him being named First Team All-Metro West… Competes with Team J Sizzle on the AAU circuit…Member of the National Honor Society…
Coach Sather on Micah:
"Micah is a hybrid player and has the skill set of a guard with the mindset and size of a forward. He will be a matchup nightmare for teams as his development continues. He plays with tremendous physicality and an attacking mindset but can also play with great finesse and athleticism. He has worked really hard on improving his range beyond the arc, he can attack the basket and finish with either hand really well, and he has the chance to be a special defensive player with the physical tools to guard all five positions on the floor."
Karson Ouse | 6-7 | Forward | Horace, North Dakota | Kindred HS
Earned All-Region honors as both a sophomore and junior…Helped lead Kindred HS to regional championships during freshman and junior seasons…2024 North Dakota Division A All-State Tournament team…Currently averaging 12.0 points per game, 8.0 rebounds per game, and 2.0 assists per game for his prep career…Delivered a career-high 24 points behind six made three-point attempts as a junior during Kindred's state semifinal appearance…Plays for North Dakota Phenom on the AAU circuit…
Coach Sather on Ouse:
"We think the future is bright for Karson. He has a huge upside with his size, skill, and ability to shoot the ball. He can really feel the game and will fit in well with our style of play. We love recruiting locally as much as we can, and we are really excited about Karson. Most importantly, Karson is really excited about coming to the University of North Dakota and being a part of our basketball program."
