Ange-Kevin Koua and junior
Jerall Yasin were selected as team captains by their teammates for the 2024-25 season, as announced by the program on Thursday.
Koua is coming off a strong rookie campaign for the Fighting Hawks, earning All-Summit League Honorable Mention honors after finishing with 10 singles wins to tie for the team lead. The Laval, Québec, native spent time on the No. 1, 2 and 3 courts, including earning a win over No. 43 Denver in the Summit League Semifinals. Koua also paced the squad with eight doubles wins, including six on the top court.
Yasin brings leadership both on-and-off the court to the Fighting Hawks, as he returns for his junior season after finishing last year with four singles wins. The Singapore, native was strong on the doubles court with seven wins, including a 7-5 mark at the No. 2 position. Yasin also represented his home country of Singapore at the Davis Cup for the second straight year.
