NOTES: Fighting Hawks return home to welcome Bethel

Winding down on the non-conference portion of the season, the 3-7 Fighting Hawks return home to host Bethel University. Tip off at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center is set of Saturday, December 14 at 1 p.m.
 
How to Watch
All UND women's basketball games, both home and away, are broadcast on the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network and streamed via the iHeart Radio app, with veteran broadcaster Jack Michaels providing play-by-play commentary. Saturday's game will air on 100.3 FM (Cat Country).
 
Saturday's game can be streamed on the Summit League Network, with a subscription.

Series History: UND vs. Bethel
This will be the second ever meeting between Bethel and NoDak, the first dating back to November 27, 1987. The teams battled at a neutral site where the Hawks came out on top 77-62.
 
Last Time Out: vs. Drake
UND fell to Drake University, 82-63, on Thursday evening at the Knapp Center. Drake opened the game with a dominant 27-10 first quarter, fueled by sharp three-point shooting (6-of-9). The Fighting Hawks found some momentum in the second period, outscoring the Bulldogs 20-13.
 
Kiera Pemberton led UND with 13 points, hitting 6-of-9 from the field. Walker Demers recorded 13 rebounds and seven points. Jocelyn Schiller chipped in 12 points and two assists. Drake outshot UND, hitting 47% (31-of-66) from the field compared to UND's 39% (23-of-59). The Bulldogs also excelled beyond the arc, shooting 40.6% (13-of-32) from three-point range.

The Hawks rank 25th nationally and lead the Summit League with 15.30 free throws made per game.
 
Individually, shooting 58.9% from the field, Pemberton leads the conference in shot percentage and is ranked 19th nationally. Mikayla Aumer's .881 free throw percentage is second best in the conference and ranks 46th nationally.
