NOTES: No. 16/17 UND returns to NCHC play for weekend series at Miami

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – It's a return to NCHC play for No. 16/17 North Dakota this weekend, opening a series against Miami on Friday night at 6:05 p.m. from Steve Cady Arena in Oxford, Ohio.
 
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, who is in his 45th year on the mic for UND hockey, and Darrin Looker calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.

Friday will be the 41st all-time meeting between North Dakota and Miami, with UND holding a dominant 31-8-1 advantage in the series.
 
UND was perfect against the RedHawks last season, going 6-0-0 including a sweep in the NCHC Quarterfinal series in Grand Forks.
 
Over the last 16 meetings, NoDak is 15-1-0 against Miami and is averaging 5.5 goals per game in those contests.
