GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Fresh off another six points on the road in conference play, North Dakota remained at No. 16 in the USCHO.com Poll and slipped one spot to No. 18 in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live Poll, which were both released on Monday afternoon.

UND (9-7-1, 4-2-0 NCHC) is coming off a pair of wins over Miami last weekend, rallying back from a 4-2 deficit late in the third with three goals over the final five minutes of play to capture a 5-4 victory before securing the weekend sweep with a 4-2 triumph on Saturday.

The two wins give UND its first 4-0-0 start in road conference games since joining the NCHC in 2013-14 and for the first time since the 2010-11 squad. NoDak has also earned a full six points on the road in two weekends so far this year, marking the first time since 2021-22 that it has done that.

Sophomore defenseman Abram Wiebe was honored by the NCHC for his performance over the weekend, finishing with one goal and three assists to earn the NCHC Defenseman of the Week award for the first time in his career. It was also a dominating weekend for UND freshmen, as Dalton Andrew, Cody Croal and Andrew Strathmann all scored their first career goals, while Mac Swanson dished out a career-high three assists on Saturday and Sacha Boisvert had three points (1G, 2A) on the weekend.

North Dakota is back in action to close out the first half of the 2024-25 season this weekend, hosting No. 9 St. Cloud State for a series beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena.
