Grand Forks, N.D. – The Missouri Valley Football Conference announced the updated 2025 and 2026 conference schedules. With the release of the MVFC schedules, North Dakota has now completed its slates through the 2026 season.
Both the 2025 and 2026 MVFC schedule for UND features eight in-conference games, each with four home contests and four away games. The Fighting Hawks will host the Bison both seasons, while also visiting the Salukis both years.
In 2025, NoDak will open its season at Kansas State (Aug. 30), before hosting Portland State (Sept. 6). The Fighting Hawks will then visit the Grizzlies of Montana on Sept. 13. The non-conference portion of the schedule will conclude with a home game against Valparaiso on Sept. 20.
The first week of October, UND will visit Northern Iowa on Oct. 4. Then, NoDak will host Youngstown State the following weekend (Oct. 11). North Dakota will close out the month of October by visiting Southern Illinois (Oct. 18) and hosting Indiana State (Oct. 25).
The Fighting Hawks will then travel to Vermillion to battle South Dakota on Nov. 1 to open the month of November. UND will close out its regular season with North Dakota State (Nov. 8) at home, at Murray State (Nov. 15) and hosting South Dakota State (Nov. 22).
In 2026, action for North Dakota will begin on Sept. 5 inside the Alerus Center, where the Fighting Hawks will square off with the Tommies of St. Thomas. The month of September closes with road non-conference games at Portland State (Sept. 12) and Nebraska (Sept. 19).
Following an open week (Sept. 26), the MVFC slate for UND will commence with five games in October. The Hawks will begin the month hosting Northern Iowa (Oct. 3), before traveling to Indiana State (Oct. 10) and with South Dakota in Grand Forks (Oct. 17). The month of October closes out with road games at South Dakota State (Oct. 24) and at Southern Illinois (Oct. 31).
After playing at Southern Illinois, NoDak will host Murray State (Nov. 7) and visit Youngstown State (Nov. 14). North Dakota will host North Dakota State for the second season in a row to close out the regular season on Nov. 21.
