GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Following a series sweep to begin the season, No. 8 North Dakota returns home to battle longtime rival No. 13/14 Minnesota in a two-game series beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, who is in his 46th year on the mic for UND hockey, and Mike LaMoine calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.

Friday will be the 297th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Minnesota, with the Golden Gophers holding a 143-137-16 advantage in the series.
After a year off for only the fourth time in 78 years, the two sides are set to begin a stretch of four straight years of matchups, with two series in Grand Forks and two in Minneapolis.
NoDak has been on a bit of a roll over the last few years against Minnesota, sitting at 7-3-0 over the last 10 meetings.
