CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Due to the likelihood of lightning and thunderstorms later in the afternoon on Saturday, the start time for Saturday's football game at Southern Illinois has been moved up two hours to 12 p.m.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+. It will also be carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network with a pregame show starting at 11 a.m.
The Salukis hold a 3-1 lead in the all-time series and a 2-1 edge in the series as MVFC opponents. The home team has won every game played between the two squads in history so far. This will be the first time the two teams have met on the gridiron since Sept. 24, 2022, when SIU won 34-17 at Saluki Stadium.
