Fighting Hawks sit No. 13/18 in recent polls

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After stumbling in the 15-10 slugfest with No. 1 North Dakota State, North Dakota remained No. 13 in the Stats Perform Poll and dropped to No. 18 in the AFCA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
 
The MVFC has seven teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State continues to hold the top spot. North Dakota is outside the top-10 at No. 13, followed by Illinois State at No. 14, South Dakota State at No. 16 and South Dakota at No. 17. Youngstown State and Southern Illinois round out the poll for the league at No. 20 and No. 21, respectively.

In the AFCA Coaches' Top 25, the league still has seven teams ranked. The Bison remain at the top. There is a logjam of teams from the conference in the poll after the top spot, with the Redbirds ranked No. 13, trailed by the Jackrabbits (No. 15), Fighting Hawks (No. 18), Penguins (No. 19), Coyotes (No. 22) and Salukis (No. 23).

No. 13/18 North Dakota will visit Murray State at 11 a.m. this Saturday. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
