GRAND FORKS, N.D. - No. 13/18 North Dakota will visit Murray State this Saturday. Kickoff between the Fighting Hawks and Races is set for 11 a.m. The game will stream on ESPN+. It will also be carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network with a pregame show starting at 10 a.m.

North Dakota enters the game with a 6-4 mark overall and 4-2 standing in the MVFC after falling 15-10 to No. 1 North Dakota State last weekend. The Bison did not have a lead in the game until the final 2:22. NDSU picked up 10 first downs in the game, which was the program's fewest first downs in 11 years. In the defensive slugfest, the Bison had 268 yards of offense, which was over 200 yards less than their pregame average at kickoff. Malachi McNeal and Zach Lewis paced UND's defensive effort with eight tackles apiece. McNeal also had an interception in the first quarter, which led to the opening score of the game.

Murray State is 0-10 this season and 0-6 in the conference after losing 31-14 at Northern Iowa last Saturday. The Racers were knotted up at 14-14 with the Panthers at intermission before giving up 17 points in the second half. Kaleb Bailey and Baxter Wright both appeared at quarterback and combined to go 13-for-21 passing for 159 yards and a score.

This will be just the third meeting all-time between North Dakota and Murray State. UND ran away with a 72-35 victory over MSU inside the Alerus Center last season and the score completed a scorigami, meaning it was the first time in FBS and FCS history that a game has ever gone final with that score. The Fighting Hawks won the inaugural contest between the two squads at Murray State, 45-31, on Nov. 4, 2023.
