GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Following the 35-17 win at Murray State, North Dakota held steady at No. 13 in the Stats Perform Poll and moved up to No. 16 in the AFCA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The MVFC has seven teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State remains at the top. Illinois State and North Dakota are just outside the top-10 and are No. 11 and No. 13, respectively. South Dakota (No. 16) and Youngstown State (No. 18) are the next teams from the conference ranked. South Dakota State (No. 22) and Southern Illinois (No. 24) round out the poll for the MVFC.
In the AFCA Coaches' Top 25, the league has six teams ranked. The Bison still hold the top spot. The Redbirds are tied for No. 11 with Monmouth, trailed by the Fighting Hawks (No. 16), Penguins (No. 17), Coyotes (No. 21) and Jackrabbits (No. 22).
No. 13/16 North Dakota will host No. 22 South Dakota State this Saturday. The game will be televised on Midco Sports and it will be carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
