OMAHA, Neb. – The North Dakota men's basketball team looks to make it three-wins in a row on Wednesday night, as the Hawks take on Creighton at 7 p.m. from CHI Health Center Arena. Coverage can be found on ESPN+ and heard on 100.3 The Cat with Paul Ralston on the call.
NoDak is coming off a 76-74 road win over UC Riverside on Saturday evening, coming back from down 12 with 5:03 remaining.
Greyson Uelmen had a team-high 18 points, 14 coming in the second half, including the game-winning basket with 6.3 seconds remaining to go up two.
It is the 15th all-time meeting between the Blue Jays and Fighting Hawks, with Creighton leading the series 11-3. The Blue Jays won the last matchup by a score of 96-61 on Nov. 10, 2022 at CHI Health Center Arena. North Dakota has dropped two straight to Creighton, looking for its first win over the Blue Jays since Dec. 1, 1975.
Creighton comes into the matchup with a 2-1 record, recently defeating Maryland Eastern Shore 84-45 on Friday. The Blue Jays have four players averaging 10 or more points, led by Jasean Green (11.5), Nik Graves (11.3) and Blake Harper (11.0), who all average 11 or more points per game.
