MACOMB, Ill. – The North Dakota men's basketball team will play its second game in 24 hours, taking on Western Illinois at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening. The game will be on ESPN+ and 100.3 The Cat, with Paul Ralston on the call.

It is the 16th meeting all-time between the two programs, with Western Illinois leading the series 8-7. The last matchup between these two squads took place on Feb. 23, 2023, in Grand Forks, where the Leathernecks won 80-71.

It has been a matchup of streaks over the last 10 meetings, currently on the Leathernecks side. Western Illinois is on a current five game winning streak in the series, which started following five consecutive victories from the Hawks previous to that.
