HONOLULU, Hawaii – The North Dakota men's basketball team will head to the Aloha State to take on Hawaii on Friday at 11 p.m. from Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and heard on radio at 100.3 The Cat with Paul Ralston on the call.

It is the fourth career meeting between the Hawks and the Rainbow Warriors, last playing each other on Nov. 12, 2017. Hawaii leads the all-time series 2-1, winning the last matchup 81-78. UND's one victory came back on March 8, 1949, but the last two meetings (2017 & 2012) have been decided by a combined eight points.

The Rainbow Warriors own a 5-2 record, defeating Hawaii Pacific on Monday 88-76. Hawaii has played six of its seven games this season at home, led by Utah State transfer Isaac Johnson, who leads the team in points (16.1) and rebounds (8.1) per game this season.

North Dakota is coming off a 78-69 road victory over Western Illinois on Sunday evening. NoDak trailed by as many as 13, but used a 14-0 run from the end of the first half into the second half to take over the game.

Three Headed Attack
  • Garrett Anderson (21), Eli King (18) and Greyson Uelmen (16) combined for 55 points in the victory, recording 41 of the teams 49 points in the second half. The trio combined to shoot 17-for-34 from the field.

  • UND is 2-2 on the road this season, with both wins featuring double-digit comebacks
  • Marley Curtis is averaging 8.0 rebounds per game over his last two contests
  • The Hawks have gone with five different starting lineups in eight games this season
  • UND is 14th in the country in turnover margin (+6.5) and 19th in steals per game (11.1)
  • Uelmen has logged six consecutive double-digit scoring outings
  • Zach Kraft is 19-for-42 from deep this season, good for fourth in the Summit League in three-pointers made per game (2.4/contest)
  • King is two steals from tying and three from passing Burke Barlow and Steve Brekke for 10th all-time in career steals
  • UND is 17-for-19 from the line this season in clutch free throws (free throws under five minutes remaining in a game separated by less than 10 points)
