GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota men's basketball team will look to make it two wins in a row on Saturday, squaring off against Western Illinois at 1 p.m. at Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. Coverage can be found on Midco Sports and listened to on 100.3 The Cat. Paul Ralston will be on the call.
UND is coming off an 89-43 victory over Crown College on Wednesday. Five Hawks had 10 or more points and 13 different players scored at least one point.
George Natsvlishvili led the way with 17 points, six rebounds and four steals.
It is the 17th all-time meeting between the Hawks and Leathernecks, with the teams tied 8-8 all-time. UND won the last matchup on Nov. 23 this season in Macomb, by a score of 78-69. UND overcame a 13-point first half deficit and a six-point halftime deficit to win the game.
