Will Zellers each collecting monthly honors for November.
Strinden earned NCHC Forward of the Month for the first time after a torrid month of November. The Fargo, N.D., native finished with seven goals and five assists for 12 points to tie for the league lead in both goals and points during the month. The seven goals ranked fifth nationally while adding a trio of multi-point games and a plus-6 rating.
He notched points in six of UND's seven games in November to pace the NCHC with 1.71 points per game and share the NCHC lead with 1.00 goals per game with Zellers.
On the season, Strinden currently leads the team with a career-high 17 points while his career-high nine goals are also tied for tops on the squad.
Zellers was named NCHC Rookie of the Month after exploding offensively for seven goals and eight points. He tied his teammate Strinden for the most goals in the NCHC during the month while also tying for first nationally among all rookies in goals. The Maple Grove, Minn., native also paced the country in power play goals with five while his three game-winning tallies were tied for second in the NCAA.
The rookie notched goals in five of UND's seven games in the month, with the Fighting Hawks going 5-0-0 when he found the back of the net.
Zellers is currently tied for the team lead alongside Strinden with nine goals while his 13 points are third.
North Dakota hits the road for an NCHC series this weekend against St. Cloud State beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m.
