GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota men's basketball game opens up a four-game homestand on Saturday night against Montana at 7 p.m. Coverage can be found on Midco Sports / Summit League Network and listened to on 1440 AM The Fan, with Paul Ralston on the call.

UND will play its second game of the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. The Big Sky went 6-3 against the Summit League on Wednesday.

It is the 27th matchup all-time between UND and Montana, with the Grizzlies leading the series 19-7 overall. North Dakota won the last meeting on Nov. 15, 2021, when Caleb Nero scored the game-winning driving layup with 3.0 seconds to play to take the victory, 79-77. Prior to that, the Grizzlies had won the previous nine meetings.

North Dakota fell to Idaho on Wednesday by a score of 90-58 in Moscow. UND had two players in double figures, led by Marley Curtis who compiled 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Eli King contributed 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Scouting the Opposition
Montana enters this matchup with a 4-5 record, dropping its last four games. The Grizzlies are coming off an 81-72 home loss against North Dakota on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies were picked to finish first in the Big Sky this season, fresh off a 2025 NCAA Tournament appearance. Montana is led by Big Sky Preseason Player of the Year, Money Williams, who is averaging 19.3 points, 6.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game this season.
