SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota distance runner
Jadyn Keeler was named the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Track Peak Performer of the Week, the league offices announced on Tuesday.
At the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener last Saturday,
Jadyn Keeler placed eighth in the invitational 5,000 meters with a personal-best time of 15:14.76. She shattered her previous school record time of 15:28.29, which she set on that same track at the 2024 David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Her record time in the 5,000 meters currently ranks No. 22 all-time in NCAA indoor track history. It also bettered the Canadian U23 record time of 15:17.47, which was set by Chloe Thomas of Connecticut last season.
North Dakota is scheduled to make the trek down I-29 for the Dakota Alumni Invitational at North Dakota State on Thursday.
