FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota volleyball team continues conference play, as the team will travel down to Fargo to take on North Dakota State on Saturday at 7 p.m. from Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.

UND is coming off a victory on Thursday evening over South Dakota in four sets, improving the Hawks to 1-0 in Summit League play for the first time since 2022.

Barber Going Crazy
Paige Barber totaled career highs with 23 kills and nine digs on a season best .333 hit percentage against South Dakota. Barber's 23 kills were the most in a non-five set match since Oct. 22, 2011, when Lexi Robinson had 23 kills against NJIT in four sets. Barber has recorded 15 or more kills in five consecutive matches, ranking her second in the Summit League with 163 kills on the season.

Galvan Instant Impact
Freshman Ava Galvan made her collegiate debut and contributed instantly, recording seven kills, including swatting a kill on her first career attack attempt. The middle blocker logged one block as well.

Looking to Win in Fargo
The Hawks are looking for a win at NDSU for the first time since Oct 8, 2022. The last time these two squads squared off was on Nov. 19, 2024, when the Bison were victorious in four sets. UND was led by Barber with 16 kills, along with 10 kills from Lauren Perugini. Izzie McCormick had 18 digs and Katy Riviere had 23 assists.

Aces Up
UND is one of four teams in the Summit League to have two players ranked top 10 in service aces. McCormick ranks fifth in the conference with 18 aces and Skylar Darr ranks sixth with 17. McCormick stands one ace away from 100 for her career.
