GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota soccer team (6-4-2, 0-1-1 Summit) earned its first point in Summit League play on Sunday afternoon, via a 0-0 tie against Omaha (4-4-4, 0-1-1 Summit) from Bronson field.
The Hawks totaled their seventh clean sheet of the season, as
Grace Miller logged four saves in the match. Miller came up huge for the Hawks, stopping an Omaha breakaway in the 83rd minute to keep the game tied at 0-0.
UND totaled eight shots compared to six from the Mavericks, with both teams registering four on net. Seven different Hawks recorded a shot, paced by
Sarah McCracken who logged two total shots, with one on frame.
Alisha Maake contributed a shot, while leading the UND back line, winning headers and making tackles.
North Dakota will be on the pitch again this Thursday, as the Hawks travel to South Dakota State for a match with the Jackrabbits on Summit League Network.
