ST. PAUL, Minn. – The North Dakota men's basketball team looks to make it four wins in a row, taking on the St. Thomas Tommies on Thursday night at 7 p.m. from Lee & Penny Anderson Arena. Coverage can be found on Summit League Network and heard on 100.3 The Cat.

It is the 23rd meeting all-time between UND and UST, with the Tommies leading the all-time series 12-10. The two teams squared off two weeks ago in Grand Forks, where UND fell 91-80 on Jan. 15. North Dakota trailed just 37-36 at halftime in that contest, but the Tommies shot 9-of-13 from three in the second half and 16-for-24 overall.

The Fighting Hawks are coming off a 93-86 win over Denver on Saturday, behind a 30-point performance from Greyson Uelmen. It was a competitive game, but the Hawks shot 50.0% from the field and had four in double figures to secure their fourth straight win.

Scouting the Opposition
The Tommies come into this game with a 17-5 record, defeating South Dakota on Saturday by a 90-78 margin in Vermillion. UST overcame a nine-point first half deficit in that contest.

St. Thomas has four guys who average at least 9.5 points per game, led by the duo of Nolan Minessale (19.9 points per game) and Nick Janowski (16.7 points per game), who average a combined 36.6 points per game. Back on Jan. 15, these two combined for 59 points, with Janowski scoring 32 and Minessale pouring in 27.

Looking to End the 28-game Home Winning Streak
The Tommies own a 28-game home winning streak, the longest active streak in Division l. The last team to win at St. Thomas was the Fighting Hawks, back on Jan. 27, 2024, by a 74-64 margin. UND led by as many as 14 in the win, as Eli King is the only player on the current roster to have played in that game. He totaled 17 points, five rebounds, four steals and one assist in the contest.
