GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Summit League has approved a requested date change for North Dakota women's basketball's scheduled home game against South Dakota in February, officials announced Wednesday. Competition has been moved from Thursday, February 26 to Wednesday, February 25 with tip-off remaining set for 7 p.m.
In addition to the North Dakota-South Dakota game adjustments, the North Dakota State-South Dakota State game in Fargo will be moving from February 25 to February 26. The four Dakota schools jointly requested for the change to allow for prime fan experience and viewing of the respective schools' men's basketball and women's basketball programs.
This schedule change also is part of a long-term goal for future opportune scheduling of the men's and women's basketball games for these four programs that will continue to allow for better fan experience.
North Dakota will return to action this week at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center with three games in four days, beginning with Oral Roberts on Thursday evening.
