GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota women's soccer hits the road this week for a pair of conference clashes, first facing Kansas City on Thursday before matching up against Oral Roberts in Tulsa on Sunday.

The Fighting Hawks are coming off an 0-1-1 weekend, tying Omaha, 1-1, last Thursday before falling to St. Thomas, 2-1, on Sunday. Wins this weekend would boost North Dakota's chances of reaching the Summit League Tournament, as it currently sits fourth and out of contention in Pod A.

Thursday offers North Dakota a shot at getting back in the win column, as it faces the bottom seed of Pod B, Kansas City. The Fighting Hawks have not beaten the Roos since 2021 and have lost or tied the past five tilts against them. The Roos are 2-8-3 overall with a 1-2-2 record against Summit League opponents.

Afterward, North Dakota faces its most difficult test of the season when it plays Oral Roberts on Sunday. The Golden Eagles 9-1-4 and 3-0-2 in conference play entering this weekend. They'll be coming off a favorable match against North Dakota State on Thursday. Fifth-year head coach Austin Risenhoover has guided the Golden Eagle to the No. 1 slot in the conference standings, as well as six different statistical categories among conference competitors.
