GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota dropped three spots in both national FCS polls, falling to No. 9 in the Stats Perform poll and to No. 11 in the AFCA Coaches' poll following a 26-23 overtime loss at No. 8/6 South Dakota.

The Fighting Hawks enter their third straight clash vs. a top-10 opponent with a 6-3 overall record and 3-2 tally in Missouri Valley Conference play. NoDak erased a 20-3 halftime deficit to force the extra session against a Coyotes team that has won four straight.

North Dakota is tasked with another road tilt this Saturday against No. 4/4 Youngstown State, who is coming off a bye week and received two first-place votes in the Stats poll. The Fighting Hawks and Penguins kickoff at 11 a.m. CT in a game that will be streamed on ESPN+.
